What inspired you to start participating in roller derby? When the world shut down, so did social hobbies. I used to salsa dance quite a bit and missed having a community. When skating returned with safety protocols I decided to try out roller derby and gained a whole new community.

Advice to First Years: We are in this together, we want you here with us and we’ve been where you are. No shame or embarrassment, all love and growth.

Favorite moment: Can’t say I have one favorite moment. My favorite moments are the ones of “ah ha” that keep happening. The continual grind, learning and growth that comes along with this sport.
