What inspired you to start participating in roller derby? Going fast! Hitting people! Alter-egos! New friends! What more can you ask for? Plus squatting in derby position makes my butt look good.
Advice to First Years: Try as many things as you can and don’t be intimidated by the vets. They want to help you, and their bark is worse than their bite.
Favorite moment: Playing in the freshie bout was so fun and exciting! I loved going all out and showing off what we’ve learned.
